Part D Resource Center
Medicare Part D is changing, and we’re here to help you navigate it with confidence.
This Resource Center gives you educational tools, step-by-step guides, videos, and resources to review your prescription drug coverage and make informed decisions about your Medicare options.
Some Medicare and Medicare.gov processes now require more direct participation from you. Simply Senior Solutions remains committed to supporting you through education, guidance, and trusted resources. Our goal is simple: help you understand your options and feel confident through the review process.
Please note that Simply Senior Solutions is no longer able to review or enroll clients into Medicare Part D prescription drug plans. We will continue providing educational resources and guidance so you can successfully complete your own review and enrollment when you’re ready.
Nothing has changed with how we service Medicare Supplement or Medicare Advantage plans.

Frequently Asked Questions
Medicare and Medicare Part D processes have changed significantly in recent years. The answers below address the most common questions we receive about Medicare.gov accounts, prescription drug plan reviews, and what now requires your participation.
Why is the Medicare Part D process different this year?
The Medicare landscape has changed significantly in recent years, especially regarding Part D prescription drug plans and Medicare.gov requirements.
Because of these changes, some steps that may have been handled differently in the past now require direct participation from the beneficiary. While the process has changed, our commitment to helping you has not.
Can you still help me with my Part D review?
Absolutely. Our role is focused on helping you understand your options, navigate the process, and make informed decisions. We provide educational resources, step-by-step guidance, and support throughout your annual review.
While certain actions must now be completed directly through Medicare or Medicare.gov, you do not have to navigate those changes alone.
Why do I need a Medicare.gov account?
A Medicare.gov account makes it much easier to review and compare Part D prescription drug plans.
Medicare strongly recommends individual accounts with unique email addresses for security purposes. Shared email accounts can create issues with login verification and account recovery. If you need help understanding the setup process, we can guide you through the steps.
What should I do if I’m having trouble with Medicare.gov or my account?
We’re happy to help guide you through the Medicare.gov process and explain the steps involved.
However, account access, password resets, identity verification, account recovery, and security settings are managed directly by Medicare. If you’re experiencing account-specific issues, Medicare may require you to contact 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227). Their representatives have access to account information and systems that we cannot view or modify.
When should I contact 1-800-MEDICARE?
Contact 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) if you are experiencing:
- Medicare.gov login or password issues
- Account verification problems
- Account recovery concerns
- Enrollment status questions
- Medicare account access issues
- Questions requiring access to your personal Medicare records
What is an ANOC, and why should I read it?
ANOC stands for Annual Notice of Change. This document outlines any changes to your Medicare plan for the upcoming year, including:
- Monthly premiums
- Deductibles
- Prescription drug formularies
- Pharmacy networks
- Copays and cost-sharing
Reviewing your ANOC each year is one of the most important steps in determining whether your current plan still meets your needs.2
What is the difference between a Medicare Advantage Plan and a Medicare Supplement Plan?
Medicare Advantage (Part C) and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans are two different ways to receive Medicare coverage, and each has its own benefits, costs, provider networks, and coverage considerations. The right choice depends on your individual healthcare needs, budget, travel habits, and personal preferences.
If you’d like to learn more or compare the two, call our office at (314) 270-1771 to schedule a consultation.
What if I have concerns or need additional assistance?
If you have questions, concerns, or feel that your situation requires additional review, contact us and we’ll document your concerns and follow up with you directly. Our goal is to educate, guide, support, and empower you to make confident Medicare decisions.
Other Prescription Cost Saving Options
Review the websites below to see if there are cost savings available for your prescription medication. The first option is a pharmacy based in Canada; the remaining resources are based in the United States. There is a possibility that none of these resources will offer a lower-cost option for your medication.
